GUILDFORD AND GODALMING CROQUET CLUB

THE CLUB:

The Club was formed about 20 years ago and since 1997 has been located at the North field of Broadwater Sports Club. We currently have four lawns, one of which is often set up as two half lawns. We currently have around 40 members, and this is increasing each year.

We play Association Croquet and Golf Croquet and most of our members are involved with both.

CLUB SEASON:

Our season officially starts on the first Sunday in April at 2.30 pm, and usually ends in late September or early October.

In addition our lawns are available to members at ALL times and throughout the year. Equipment is available to members at all times and is stored near the squash courts.

Please wear flat-soled shoes on the lawns. Whites are only required for external tournaments.

On club days members turn up and just play friendly games, Association or Golf, with whoever is available.

Sunday Afternoons from 2.30 pm.
Tuesday Evenings from 6.30 pm.
Thursday Evenings from 6:30 pm - mainly ‘Golf Croquet’.

Two club members will be present for at least the first hour of each session to take out balls, club mallets and bisques; also to take care of new members. (Click for 2008 Rota)
